A DARLINGTON street was blocked yesterday after a collision where people were trapped.
Vane terrace, coming off Woodland Road, was blocked off by fire engines at around 3.15pm yesterday.
Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue received a call at to a road traffic collision between two private vehicles where people were reported to be trapped at 3.14pm yesterday, Semtember 23.
Two fire engines from Darlington attended alongside the special rescue unit.
When emergency services arrived, everyone was accounted for and clear of the vehicles.
A woman had minor injuries and firefighters administered oxygen while waiting for an ambulance.
The incident ended an hour later, with the stop call coming in at 4.15pm
