Do you remember when the BBC's Antiques Roadshow came to The Bowes Museum.
The show's production crew and stars were at the museum near Barnard Castle on Thursday, August 27, 2009.
Echo reader John Hill was there to enjoy the spectacle as about 2,000 people queued to have their heirlooms valued, including paintings and books and peculiar pelican statues.
Show presenter Fiona Bruce was coming coming to the end of her second series and Mr Hill recalled: “It was a lovely sunny day, although it rained the day before. I didn’t see Fiona Bruce sadly, but she was there somewhere.”
