A TOTAL of 19 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Southampton in the last week.

Figures from Public Health England data published today (September 21) have revealed that there have been 19 new cases of coronavirus recorded in the seven days up to September 18. This is a decrease in the number recorded the week prior where 27 cases were counted.

In Eastleigh, three cases were recorded in the seven days up to September 18, down from seven cases recorded the week before.

The New Forest saw nine new cases in the most recent week, a decrease in the number of cases when compared to the 25 cases recorded during the seven days up to September 11.

Six cases of the virus were recorded in Winchester in the seven days up to September 18. This was a decrease in cases recorded when compared to the 11 cases in the week prior.

In Fareham, 11 cases were recorded, down from 15 the week before, and three cases were recorded in Gosport down from five the week prior.

In Test Valley cases were down from 16 cases recorded during the seven days up to September 11 compared to the 11 cases in the seven days up to September 18.

Portsmouth saw cases drop to 23 in the seven days up to September 18 when compared to 31 recorded cases in the week before.
