You can enjoy a virtual tour of the college’s outstanding facilities and chat to the Advice, Support, Careers team who will answer questions about entry requirements, student finance or support.

The Northern Echo:

When you become a student at New College Durham you are joining a top performing college with a wealth of experience delivering higher education programmes. All their qualifications are validated by official awarding bodies and face the same rigorous checks as universities, so you can be sure you will get a first-class education.

Megan Nichols, Vice Principal Higher Education, is proud of the unique learning environment at New College Durham. She said: “Learning is delivered in informal classroom settings and class sizes are kept small to provide a supportive and friendly learning experience. Many of the courses are available on a full or part-time basis with flexible study options to fit around work or family commitments.”

Developing students’ employability skills is high priority.  Employers play a part in the design of many courses and provide industry visits, work placements, guest speakers and live client briefs. It’s no surprise that 97% of New College Durham graduates progress to employment or further study.
