Police issue warning over TikTok scam
POLICE have warned there is no valid TikTok app following reports of a scam.
The social media platform is quickly becoming one of the top most downloaded apps with 41 per cent of its users under 24.
Scammers have distributed 'Tik Tok Pro' via a third party store.
Durham Police have taken to social media to issue a warning.
They have advised social media users that while it is possible to get a 'pro' account for TikTok, there is no valid app.
