THE North-East has been taking advantage of warmer weather today - as a beach on Teesside was a hive of activity this afternoon.
Pictures captured the scene at Saltburn as visitors braved the sea for a dip, while others dressed down for the pier.
The weather is set to hit 24c in some parts of the North-East, with temperatures their warmest at around 4pm today.
