JONATHAN GEORGE GREGORY, 45, of Station Road, Redcar. Stole alcohol to the value of £49 belonging to Co-op stores in Middlesbrough. Fined £100, compensation £23. Breached a conditional discharge order. No further action. Stole chocolate to the value of £62 belonging to Sainsburys in Middlesbrough. Fined £100, compensation £45

NATHAN GEORGE, 22, of Kingston Road, Stockton-on-Tees. Damaged wooden doors to the value of approximately £100 with intent to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be damaged or destroyed belonging to another. Conditional discharge for six months, compensation £100.

JOHN LEWIS, 57, of Queensway, Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Drove on Marske Road, Saltburn with excess alcohol that exceeded the limit, namely: 73 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £120, victim surcharge £34, costs £85, banned from driving for 20 months to be reduced by 20 weeks on completion of a course, licence endorsed.

RICHARD DUNCAN LAVERICK, 46, of Whernside Crescent, Ingleby Barwick. Drove on Durham Road, Stockton when the proportion of a controlled drug namely cocaine exceeded the limit: 32 microgrammes per litre of blood. Fined £200, victim surcharge £32, costs £85, banned from driving for three years, licence endorsed. Drove on Durham Road, Stockton, when the proportion of a controlled drug namely Benzoylecgonine exceeded the limit: over 200 microgrammes per litre of blood. Banned from driving for three years, licence endorsed.

JAMIE CHRISTOPHER OWENS, 33, of Norcliffe Street, Middlesbrough. Stole two pairs of headphones to the value of £54.98 belonging to WHSmiths. Jailed for four weeks, compensation £54.98. Stole a rucksack, a pair of scissors and a pair of headphones to the value of £97.18 belonging to WHSmiths. Jailed for four weeks consecutive, compensation £97.18. Stole bottles of gin with an unknown other to the value of £128 belonging to B&M in Southbank. Jailed for four weeks consecutive, compensation £97.18. Stole bottles of gin with an unknown other to the value of £70.95 belonging to B&M in Southbank. Jailed for four weeks consecutive, compensation £70.95. SARAH ROSE PAUL, 29, of Shimwell Terrace, Merton. Used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress. Fined £80, victim surcharge £34, costs £85.

TODD JENNINGS, 25, of Swale Road, Norton. Destroyed a window to the value of approximately £200 belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged in Stockton. Community order made for a year, unpaid work requirement of 60 hours to be carried out in the next 12 months, compensation £200, victim surcharge £95, costs £85.

MARK LEE THEASBY, 36, of Kerr Grove, Hartlepool. Assaulted a police officer in the execution of his duty by beating him in Hartlepool. Community order made for a year and one month, unpaid work requirement of 50 hours within the next 12 months, victim surcharge £90, costs £85.
