A FLORISTRY has moved from Darlington market into the town's shopping centre.
Family business Julie's of Darlington, known as Julie's Floristry, offers a range of accessories including hats, fascinators, and handbag as well as artificial flowers and seasonal products.
Julie Robertson, from the store, said: "We are very excited to become part of the Cornmill Shopping Centre here in Darlington.
"Our main ambition and goal is always to help our customers look and feel great whatever the occasion and we would like to thank all our customers for their loyal support and hope to see you in our new venture at the Cornmill Shopping Centre.”
Susan Young, centre manager at the Cornmill, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Julie's of Darlington into the centre.
"They are a long-established family run business who provide a range items and we firmly believe Julies will be a great success with our customers.”
Mayor Chris McEwan opened the new store with a ribbon and cake cutting on Saturday, September 4, and wished Ms Robertson and her team well.
