THE travel operator National Holidays will operate coach trips from the North-East later this year due to popular demand.
The firm, which was created from a brand which collapsed into administration earlier this year, said it had brought forward its debut departures.
Towards the end of last month, National Holidays released its full list of destinations for the 2021 holiday programme.
It also confirmed the list of pick-up locations in the North-East, including Chester-le-Street, Durham, Darlington, Middlesbrough and Stockton.
But due to popular demand, the company said it will now operate coach holidays from the region to destinations across the UK between September and December.
Online, the earliest trips from Darlington begins with a two-day trip to the Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show from September 19.
Meanwhile, the more popular Mystery Tours and Mystery Weekend Specials appear to be available from October 31.
On social media, the company also confirmed trips to Harry Potter World, Edinburgh and London were among those making their debut this year.
As it first emerged the brand had been bought by JG Travel Group, coach bosses said they aimed to 'replicate' much of the former service offered.
At the time, they said: "National Holidays had an enviable reputation in the coach holiday market" and said they were "thrilled" to add the brand to its portfolio.
They said: "Our aim is to take the essence of National Holidays and replicate many tours, pickups points and even staff.
"We will be using coach operators from the same regions, so you may well recognise some of the drivers."
According to the website, the company will serve these departure points in the North-East.

Still waiting for a refund - here is what you need to know
Despite the brand making a return to the North-East, customers who may have not received refunds for holidays booked before the company's collapse in June will not be able to claim from the new brand.
