THE region's children have started returning to school this week - and we've been recieving dozens of your amazing pictures. 

Schools across Tyne and Wear, County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire have started to reopen their doors for the first time in months.

For many pupils it is the first time they are going back to the classroom since March.
