A FURTHER 86 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the North-East and North Yorkshire.
326,614 have now tested positive in the UK, the daily figure being 853 people with a lab-confirmed positive result.
Figures published on Monday afternoon revealed that County Durham had the biggest 24-hour increase in people having lab-confirmed positive test results for Covid-19 with 3,456 recorded, 16 more than the previous day.
There were four reported deaths of people who had a positive test result within 28 days today in the UK. A total of 41,433.
The daily figures for coronavirus infections in the North East and North Yorkshire by local authority, as of 4pm on Monday, August 24, were:
