FOUR people were injured during an alleyway disturbance on Sunday.

Police were called to an alleyway between Glenside and Albion Terrace, in Saltburn, at about 11.55pm.

Two males aged in their twenties were taken to James Cook University Hospital with wounds which are believed to have been caused by a knife. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening and both remain in hospital whilst receiving treatment.

A man suffered facial injuries and a woman suffered an injury to her arm. Both were taken to hospital for treatment and they have now been released.

A man and a woman aged in their twenties have been arrested in connection with the incident and they remain in police custody at this time.
