AMERICAN singer Taylor Swift has paid tribute to The Lake District in a bonus track on her new album, showing her love for the English countryside despire travelling the world.
The track called, The Lakes, is a bonus song on her new album Folklore, which came out last month and was produced during lockdown.
Some of the chorus lyrics include "Take me to the lakes, where all the poets went to die" and "Those Windermere peaks look like a perfect place to cry."
The pop-superstar visited Cumbria and the Lakes back in 2012 with Harry Styles when the pair dated.
Taylor has been dating English actor Joe Alwyn since at least 2016.
