Durham Police say they are no longer trying to find Aaron Drummond.
A MAN is in custody following an appeal by police to trace him in connection to an alleged serious assault.
Durham Police say they are no longer trying to find Aaron Drummond.
A spokesperson said: "He is currently in custody in Darlington Police Station.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to trace him."
Durham Police had made an appeal to trace Mr Drummond as part of their investigation into an alleged assault, which happened in Gilling Crescent, Darlington, at about 6.30pm on Friday, July 17.
