CLEVELAND police have put in place a dispersal order in part of Guisborough in response to increased reports in antisocial behaviour.
The dispersal will cover the Stump Cross area of Guisborough and remain in place for at least 48 hours as of 6pm tonight, Wednesday 5th August, and is bounded by Hutton Lane, West End, Westgate, Westgate Park and Chapel Beck.
A dispersal notice gives police the power to disperse groups of people from the area for a period of at least 24 hours. It is a criminal offence to return to the area and anyone in breach of their dispersal notice can be arrested.
Officers will be patrolling the area and anyone who may wish to report antisocial behaviour can call Cleveland Police on 101.
