POLICE would like to speak to this man in connection with a burglary at a football club.

Officers believe the man may be help with their investigation following the break-in at Thornaby Football Club last month.

It happened on Sunday, June 28 about about 10.30 at the venue off Acklam Road, Thornaby. 

A petrol hedge trimmer was stolen, along with a petrol chainsaw and a leaf blower.

All items have since been recovered.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his late twenties or early thirties, of proportionate build, dark hair and wearing blue Nike Air Max trainers, dark tracksuit bottoms, a camouflage jacket and carrying a JD Sports bag over his shoulder.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the man, or the man himself, is asked to come forward and speak to PC Phillip Caley on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 104508.
