A MAN has admitted carrying bladed weapons following disturbance in the street.

Stuart Coulthard was arrested after police were called to reports of threats of violence in the middle of a Saturday afternoon.

The 35-year-old is charged with affray, possession of a bladed article, threats to kill and criminal damage.

Coulthard pleaded guilty to the charges when appeared at Teesside Crown Court.

Cleveland Police were called to Middle Bank Road in Ormesby at 3.10pm on Saturday, June 27.

Coulthard, of Middle Bank Road, Ormesby, was remanded in custody until his sentencing hearing on August 21.

Judge Deborah Sherwin said: "On the clear understanding that he is expecting a prison sentence, I will adjourn the sentence for a pre-sentence report."
