THERE have been no further coronavirus patient deaths in hospitals in the North-East and North Yorkshire

Latest figures published on Monday afternoon confirmed a total of 1,735 patients in the region have died since the outbreak began, a figure that stands at 29,291 across England. 

NHS England said: "A further 10 people, who tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,291.

"Patients were aged between 48 and 93 years old. All had known underlying health conditions. Their families have been informed."

Gateshead Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – 135 no change

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – 202 no change

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – 255 no change

South Tyneside & Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust – 325 no change

Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 116 no change

York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – 214 no change

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust - 82 no change

Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (mental health) – 7 no change

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (mental health) – 7 no change
