POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash in County Durham last night.
It happened on Langley Lane, Burnhope and officers attended the scene shortly before 9pm.
The road remained closed for several hours into the early hours of this morning as emergency services dealt with the incident.
A Durham Constabularly spokesman said: "Police officers are appealing for anyone who was travelling on Langley Lane between 8.30pm and 9pm to contact Durham Constabulary on 101 quoting incident number DHM-18072020-0466.
"Those with dash cam footage are especially valuable to the investigation."
