THERE were no further coronavirus patient deaths in hospitals in the North-East and North Yorkshire.
Latest figures published on Tuesday afternoon confirmed the region's hospital death toll had stayed the same.
A total of 26 people have died across hospitals in the UK after testing positive for Covid-19 today. Two were in Wales, but there were no deaths reported in Scotland or in Northern Ireland.
These patients were aged between 49 and 94 years old. A 71 year-old-patient who died was reported as having no known underlying health conditions.
The Office for National Statistics have confirmed that the number of deaths registered in England and Wales from Covid-19 in the week ending July 3 was 532 - the lowest number of deaths caused by coronavirus in the last 15 weeks.
