THERE have been no further coronavirus deaths in hospitals in the North-East and North Yorkshire.
Latest figures published on Friday afternoon confirmed a total of 1,733 people had died in the region after testing positive for Covid-19.
It's the second day in a row that the region has not recorded any new Covid-19 patient deaths.
But nationally, a further 22 patients died with the virus in hospital settings across England.
A statement from NHS England said: "A further 22 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,013.
"Patients were aged between 52 and 99 years old. All patients had known underlying health conditions. Their families have been informed."

Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (mental health) – 7 no change
