HUNGRY Horse, Chef & Brewer and Flaming Grill are among the pub chains that have reopened this week after three months of closure during lockdown.

Greene King, which owns the family of pubs, has confirmed which of its pubs have reopened across County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire.

The chain has introduced a number of strict measures with staff given Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and customers encouraged to use mobile ordering.

Three Greene King pubs have reopened in Darlington with a further 15 across County Durham and Teesside -  here's where they've reopened so far:

The remaining pubs that have not opened this week will reopen at a later date which is still to be confirmed in line with Government guidance, says Greene King.

On Saturday, rivals Wetherspoon reopened the majority of venues across the North-East and North Yorkshire with new safety measures in place.
