The cannabis that was seized by police
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Thornaby.
Officers from the Stockton Neighbourhood team arrested two men yesterday morning, (Tuesday, July 7), after conducting stop and searches on The Green in Thornaby.
The men aged 37 and 29 were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
On the same day, another man aged 29 was also arrested at a nearby address for drugs offences.
A quantity of cannabis was seized from the premises as shown in the image.
The males have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
This is part of Cleveland Police’s Operation Phoenix; a summer long operation to improve public service, prioritise vulnerability, tackle serious violence and prevent crime.
