THE Captain Cook Museum in Whitby will be reopening on Monday, July 13.
The museum is starting slowly with a limited service, opening weekdays only from 11am to 4pm.
This is for the protection of staff and visitors, to allow everyone an enjoyable visit and to ensure that they comply with Government and Industry Guidance.
The museum is encouraging people to book timed tickets for their party of up to six people from two related households. Visits last just over the hour.
Each party enters at quarter hour intervals and will spend a quarter of an hour on each floor.
Visitors are asked to consider that they are under the discipline of the Royal Navy! When the ship’s bell rings, each party moves promptly on to the next floor.
