Six people have been charged with a number of offences following a large-scale policing operation yesterday (Tuesday) targeting those suspected to be involved in organised crime.

Kyle Hamilton, 22, of Limetrees Close in Middlesbrough, has been charged with three counts of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Paul Mizsei, 31, of Havelock Street in Thornaby, has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Martin Dougan, 37, of Limetrees Close in Middlesbrough, has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Sidney Bashford, 24, of Raydale in Hemlington, Middlesbrough has been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Jordan Jackson, 25, of Eskdale in Hemlington, Middlesbrough, has been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Michaela Westoby, 29, of Hartington Road in Stockton has been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

All are appearing at Teesside Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday).

Three others arrested as part of the operation have been released under investigation.
