POLICE have raided a drugs operation at a Stockton property and seized 469 cannabis plants with a potential street value of up to £390,000.
Officers from the Stockton Neighbourhood team conducted a drugs warrant at a property on Yarm Lane in Stockton on Saturday.
A large cannabis farm was discovered at the premises and 469 cannabis plants were seized with a potential street value of between £130,000 and £390,000.
T/Sergeant Mitch Baldwin said: “I would like to thank the people living in our communities for coming forward with intelligence regarding drugs activity in their area.
“As a team we always act on information provided to us by the public in a bid to make our communities as safe and crime free as possible.
“Drugs cause nothing but misery on our streets and the drugs warrant executed on Yarm Lane was a big success and will prevent further crime in our area.”
Enquiries are ongoing.
