SUSPECTED drugs have been seized from two properties in Stockton while a cannabis farm at another house has also been uncovered.

Officers from Cleveland Police carried out two drug warrants earlier today in Londonderry Road, Stockton. 

Suspected class A and C drugs were recovered from one property and the occupant will be interviewed in connection with the warrant as a voluntary attendee.

At another property on the same street, a quantity of suspected class A drugs were recovered and a woman aged 34 was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and currently remains in custody.

Officers from the Stockton Neighbourhood team were informed of a suspected cannabis farm on Durham Road prior to the warrants being carried out this morning.

Officers from the team attended with assistance from the Road Policing Unit and Operational Support Unit and a large quantity of cannabis was recovered from the property.

The warrants were conducted following information reported by local communities and was conducted as part of Operation Sentinel to target organised crime.
