FOUR people have been arrested in connection to a armed robbery at Barclays Bank in Hartlepool.

Three men and a woman remain in police custody this morning in connection with an armed robbery at Barclays Bank on York Road, Hartlepool, which took place yesterday morning (Friday 12th June) at 10:10am.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Officers arrested three men aged 39, 42 and 49 and a 39-year-old woman, who are all from the Hartlepool area, yesterday.

A fourth man in his twenties was arrested but he was later released without charge.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who may have information or dash cam footage which could assist the investigation, is asked to contact Hartlepool CID on the non-emergency number 101.
