The death rate for coronavirus cases in the North East and North Yorkshire dropped to five deaths in the last 24-hours.
Data released by NHS England on Sunday afternoon stated that a further five people have died after testing positive for coronavirus in the North-East and North Yorkshire.
A total of 1,671 patients had now died in the region's hospitals since the start of the outbreak.
The total number of patient deaths recorded by each trust - as of 2.30pm on Sunday, June 7:
County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust - 243 was 242
Gateshead Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – 131 no change
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – 195 no change
North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust – 131 was 129
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – 241 no change
South Tyneside & Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust – 322 no change
Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust -114 no change
York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – 210 no change
Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust- 70 was 68
Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (mental health) – 7 no change
Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (mental health) – 7 no change
Total: 1,671 was 1,666 the day before
