TWO further coronavirus-related deaths have been reported by hospitals in the Bradford district.

According to the latest figures released by NHS England, one death was reported by the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the other at Airedale. 

The patient being cared for at Bradford Teaching Hospitals died on Tuesday (June 2) and the patient at Airedale died on Wednesday (June 3). 

That means the district's death toll in hospitals now stands at 311 according to NHS data - 203 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 106 at Airedale and two at the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

In Yorkshire and the North East, a further 26 deaths were reported.

And for England in total, the deaths of a further 123 people who tested positive for Covid-19 were announced,  bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 27,282.

Patients were aged between 38 and 105 years old. One of the patients, aged 86, had no known underlying health condition.
