AN eight-year-old from Teesside has entered an arts and craft competition.

With families across the UK stuck at home looking for ways to entertain their children, online discount toy store Bargain Max recently launched an arts and crafts talent competition for children.

In what has been an inspiring creative competition for youngsters across the UK, Bargain Max has now announced the final 15 shortlisted entries, including one from Teesside.

The competition welcomed any art or craft specialism, from painting, drawing or origami, to crafty entries such as Lego designs.

The competition saw more than 500 entries from all across the UK, with parents entering their children’s arts and crafts themed creations via Instagram or Facebook.

Natalie Thompson from Stockton, entered her eight-year-old child Max’s police car and ambulance, created using cardboard and tissue paper, as well as featuring painted eggs as the key workers.
