THE social care charity Community Integrated Care has been supported this week by a team of volunteers and staff members from Middlesbrough FC Foundation, who helped to deliver hundreds of treat boxes to the charity’s key worker colleagues across the North East.

Spanning from Middlesbrough to Northumberland, a dozen volunteers and staff members from Middlesbrough FC, collectively delivered 122 care packages to surprise Community Integrated Care’s colleagues and the people they support.

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest social care charities. It supports hundreds of people locally who have learning disabilities, autism and mental health concerns across the region.

The packs, which were purchased by the charity as a much-deserved reward for the dedicated efforts of their teams throughout this crisis, included confectionery, drinks and snacks. It was accompanied by a ‘thank you’ card from Community Integrated Care.
