A MUM has brought a brief dash of colour to her village with a balloon rainbow, to thank frontline workers.
Emma Gibson, of Park House Gardens. Sherburn Village, near Durham, who has launched a small events and wedding business, decided to brighten up a patch of grass in front of her home for a few hours. Residents were delighted with the results.
Her daugher Isla, nine, who attends Durham City Gymnastics Club in the village, used the occasion to show off some of her her talents.
Emma said: “I’ll probably do it again when we have idea when this lockdown is potentially going to come to an end.”
