Police are appealing for information after a store in Langley Park was robbed at knifepoint
DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a village shop was robbed at knifepoint this morning.
The incident happened at The Eco Supermarket, on Front Street, Langley Park, shortly after 7am on Thursday.
The suspect entered the shop wearing a baseball cap, his face covered and holding a knife.
He made off with a quantity of cash and tobacco along Front Street, towards South View.
No-one was injured.
Witnesses are asked to call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 40 of May 14.
