A FARMHOUSE has been obliterated in a huge fire.
Twenty firefighters tackled the blaze at Padiham Farm, Bolton, which has been completely gutted by the fire.
The farm is at Cutacre Country Park, Salford Road.
Firefighters from Farnworth and Atherton were at the scene approximately 5pm and struggled to contain the fire.
The fire spread to the roof and the first floor.
Four fire engines attended the remote farmhouse, which was empty and has been since December.
They spent around three hours taking the fire out.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown but under investigation.
