A MAN is in hospital with severe injuries after a crash with the second driver running off.
Crews from Broughton and Agecroft were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles at 20:25 on Friday, May 8 on Bury Old Road, Prestwich.
Casualties were dealt with by North West Ambulance and GMP were also in attendance. Crews left the scene at 21:17.
GMP Bolton said: "The driver of one of the cars, a man in his 40s, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains in a stable condition.
The occupants of the other car made off from the scene on foot."
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
