TWO teenagers have been arrested in North Yorkshire on suspicion of drug offences.
A 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old man were spotted running from a police officer in Harrogate at about 5pm on Thursday.
Officers found the 19-year-old a short time later on Stray Rein and recovered a nine inch knife, inside a sheath, from undergrowth near a railway track believed to have been discarded by him. Officers also seized herbal matter, believed to be cannabis and some cash.
The 17-year-old, who had £400 in cash, was arrested shortly after on Stray Rein.
The 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs with intent to supply and possessing a knife. The 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
They have been released pending further investigation.
