POLICE have arrested two men in connection with a robbery at McColls on the High Street in Brotton this morning.
Officers from Redcar CID arrested the men aged 20 and 30 on suspicion of robbery this afternoon.
The Police Dog Unit located the tills shortly after the incident.
The men, who were armed with weapons and wearing crash helmets, made off with around £200 when they targeted the store at 8am this morning.
Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with information to contact Detective Sergeant Dan Cook on 101 quoting 054901.
