Police have launched a murder investigation following an incident in Smith Street, Stockton.
Officers have launched a murder investigation following an incident at a property in Smith Street, Stockton on Friday, (April 3) at 10.45pm.
A man aged 42 died in hospital on Sunday (April 5) as a result of serious injuries.
Three men aged 20, 26 and 28 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information regarding the incident, or for any key workers or members of the public who were out for essential travel in this area and time to please come forward with information.
