When farmer Bryn Lewis planned to propose to his girlfriend he decided to do it in a 'ewe-nique' way.
Early on Saturday morning, the young farmer phoned Sarah Powell to help him out with the lambing at the family farm in Llanbadarn Fynydd.
What Sarah, who is originally from Berriew, didn't plan on seeing were the words 'Marry me' painted in red on the side of a sheep.
Stunned by the surprise proposal, Sarah immediately said yes. The couple were able to mark the occasion with a celebratory drink with the family.
The couple met when Sarah came to work at the farm during lambing season eight years ago whilst studying a degree at Harper Adams University - and she hasn't left since.
For now, Bryn is busy lambing and Sarah works locally as an area manager for ACT Wessex Animal Health. But they plan to hold a big party later in the year and hope to tie the knot in 2021 with family and friends.
Since the photo of the proposal went viral on social media, the couple have been happy to see that it has made people smile at a tough time.
