FIREFIGHTERS who have been tackling a farm fire overnight remain at the scene this morning.
Emergency services were called to the blaze at Hart Village, near Hartlepool, at 11.15pm last night.
Cleveland Fire Brigade sent eight engines- from Hartlepool, Headland, Middlesbrough, Stockton and Thornaby fire stations- to the scene along with command and control and supporting appliances and officers.
At about 7.35am this morning, the brigade scaled back to three fire appliances.
A spokesperson said: "The fire spread to involve two barns, which contained farm machinery, hay and pallets."
