A 45-year-old man has been charged with two counts of assault by beating an emergency worker, common assault and criminal damage.
The charges were made in connection with a reported domestic incident in Belk Street in Hartlepool where two officers were reportedly bitten, punched and kicked.
The man appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court today, (Friday).
