Police are warning members of the public to be vigilant following reports of fraudulent men offering to spray disinfectant onto driveways of properties for cash.
The men approached three properties on Redcar Road, Mandale Road and Victoria Road in Stockton on Wednesday (March 25) at around 12pm.
Three males approached the properties in total and they were all wearing masks over their mouths.
They were described as being in their late 20s to early 30s. One male was wearing a white vest and another was wearing a black hoody.
Police are warning the public to be vigilant in a bid to prevent people from becoming victim to fraudulent scams.
Anyone with information regarding the men is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 046763.
