A TEENAGE boy is due to appear in court today after being charged with grievous bodily harm following a fight at a shopping centre.
There was an altercation at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre, in Hartlepool at about 12.20pm on Sunday.
Police responded to a CCTV operator's report of a fight at the shopping centre.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said a 24-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees.
He was treated and has since been discharged.
An 18 year old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm in connection to the incident.
He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today.
Inquiries are on-going and we ask anyone who was in the area at around 12.20pm yesterday afternoon and who a number of saw running up the ramp leading to the shopping centre to come forward.
