A CONVICTED sex offender was back in court after he failed to correctly register his new credit card.
Henry Devine pleaded guilty to failing to notify the authorities that his card number had changed.
Teesside Crown Court heard how the 69-year-old was made subject of a notification order following his conviction for serious sexual offences.
Dr Christopher Wood, prosecuting, said police checked out the credit card transactions and discovered it had not been used inappropriately.
Sam Faulks, in mitigation, said his client had pleaded guilty and a probation report into his offending said he was unlikely to commit any further breaches and the risk of reoffending was low.
Devine, of Dragon Court, Norton, near Stockton was given a conditional discharge for 12 months.
