A COUNCIL has closed a visitor centre at a park after staff self-isolate due to coronavirus.
Hartlepool Borough Council has closed the visitor centre at Summerhill Country Park, in what it calls a "precautionary step".
It comes after the operators of the on-site café have self-isolated after feeling unwell.
The visitor centre is due to reopen on Monday, March 16 following a deep clean.
Monday’s “Face the Public” event at the Civic Centre is also postponed.
