POLICE have dealt with two cannabis farms in Stockton this week.
Stockton Neighbourhood Team officers have dealt with two cannabis farms in the Parkfield and Oxbridge areas.
On Wednesday, March 11, response teams attended an address in Northcote Street and discovered an established cannabis farm.
The electricity supply to this address was so dangerous that Northern Powergrid had to attend and dig up the pavement to make it safe.
On Friday 13, officers responded to a report of suspicious activity and located a cannabis farm on Cotherstone Road.
Nobody was present at either address, but enquires are ongoing.
Cannabis farms fund organised crime groups, and pose a real danger to surrounding properties.
Anyone that sees suspicious activity at an address is urged to contact Cleveland Police on 101 or report it to Crimestoppers.
