POLICE investigating the attempted assault of a female dog walker have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to.
The woman was walking her dog on Saturday evening when she was approached by a man who allegedly pushed her and then attempted to assault her.
Her dog began barking and the offender then ran off towards the Campion Drive area.
The incident happened around 6.05pm in Harperley Woods, near Harperley Hall, Tanfield Lea.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man, or who may have any information that could help the investigation.
