One arrest after discovery of cannabis grow in Chester-le-Street
POLICE discovered a cannabis grow when they attended an incident in The Avenues in Chester-le-Street yesterday.
A police spokesperson said: "A suspect is in custody waiting to be charged for a number of offences including the cultivation of cannabis.
"It is unlawful to cultivate any part of a cannabis plant."
