OFFICERS are appealing for information after windows and doors of two properties were smashed in Thornaby and Stockton.
The first incident occurred on Scarborough Road in Thornaby at 12.30am on Friday followed by further damage at Burtonport Walk in Stockton town centre at 12.40am.
It is believed a group of people possibly armed with weapons are responsible and a silver vehicle was seen in the vicinity of both incidents.
A Cleveland Police Spokesperson said: “Incidents of this nature are taken extremely seriously and officers are carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to trace the people responsible.
“Extra patrols will be visible in the affected areas and we would urge anyone with information to please contact us.”
